I Discipline My Body!
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
God is good! This is not a catchphrase; it is our testimoniny! God wants us well. In His goodness, He redeemed us from the curse of the law and all its consequences by the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. He opened the ‘gate of life & life more abundantly.
As we appreciate all that God has done, we take responsibility for our part in the covenant of life & peace. By God’s grace, we have explored the various practical opportunities through Health Workshop, we were helped to draw on the ‘little profit’ that is in physical exercise without neglecting the more extensive benefits of spiritual excercise in prayer and Bible study, preaching & intercessions.
The Blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness also heals us all infirmities, sicknesses and diseases. The Blood continues to speak better things than the blood of Abel & it leads us into the presence of the Father with boldness so that we can obtain mercy and help for every need.
All these are benefits of redemption. The choice of life and death is always before us from food to drinks, lifestyles, associations & addictions. On our part, we must choose life!
Did you make any life enhancing choice in July 2016?
