Passion for God’s Presence

We thank God for a strategic day like this; a unique day for pursuing His presence & purpose.
We pray that God perfects all that concerns us as we pray.

This day is a ‘marker‘ as we give ourselves to watching & praying through all global, national, local, Church & personal transitions.

By God’s grace, we pass from death unto life in Jesus name.  Our prayer themes are broadly in 4 phases:

Phase 1 – Prayer for Nations
Scriptures:
2 Chronicles 7:14, Ezra 8:21-23, Daniel 9, Daniel 2:21, Ephesians 6:12, Psalm 33:12, 1Tim 2:1-2
Psalm 22:28.
A) Thank God Almighty for His uncommon mercies and steadfast love. Acknowledge His ‘creative rights’ to everything (visible & invisible).

Thank Him that His glory fills the earth & no one will share His glory!

Thank Him that you & yours are alive at this time. Acknowledge that it is all by His grace that you live, move & have your being in Him.

Thank Him for nations to the ends of the earth – mention as many as you can.

B) Pray that God would save multitudes worldwide, that the gospel would go forth in power to every nation and people (E.g. Nepal following the earthquake of 2015).

C) Pray for the UK – that in the midst of the ‘chaos, void and darkness’, that God will wrought salvation in the nation; save our leaders, give them wisdom and cause them to promote righteousness and truth. That God’s Kingdom will come & His will done (Genesis 1 & 2).

Lift up the political, economic, moral & spiritual atmosphere. Repent as you plea for mercy.

D) Pray that God will choose a leader to lead the nation through the transition & that the democratic process be guided for the sake of the Church, innocent families, immigrants, etc.

Phase 2 – Prayers for the Church
Scriptures: Phil. 4:6-7, 1 Peter 2:17, Zeph. 3:17, Zech. 4:6, Jer 17:7-8, 1 Pet. 2:9

A) Thank God that He is the one who builds the Church that the gates of Hell can’t prevail against. Pray that God’s name will be proclaimed, that all plans to silence the Name of Jesus would be thwarted and crushed. Thank God for the Great Commission & Great Commandment that brought us into the fold.

Prayer for the Pastor, Board of Trustees, ministers, Heads of departments, workers, members,  friends & partners of Word Fountain Christian Ministries (WFCM). Pray for direction, strength, divine guidance, love, unity, commitment & encouragement for all.

B) Thank God for sharing His heart concerning WFCM in 2002 with the inaugural team. Thank Him for everyone who has been blessed by the Church and those who have being a blessing to it since the beginning till now. Thank God for those who have stayed to nurture and grow the work as well as those that have left to other nations, areas, or churches.

C) Repent on behalf of the Church for lukewarmness and indifference to God’s purpose. Pray that every man, woman, single, youth & child in WFCM will identify & pursue God’s purpose.

D) Pray over, bless and declare that WFCM & Family Arena will fulfil God’s purpose. That God will frustrate & thwart every plot & plan of the enemy concerning it.

E) Pray that Men of Valour, Women of Excellence, Oaks of Righteousness & Vessels of Honour will fulfil their prophetic mandate. Pray that members in every department will be empowered to serve as unto the Lord and not unto men.
Pray that Relationship, Marriage & Family (RMF) will be rightly led to strengthen relationships, that the Junior Church will be a birthing channel for the next generation & that Family Arena will continue to be a blessing to the Church & community.

F) That God will multiply His grace & peace upon WFCM as it completes 14 years and enters into a glorious future. Prophecy expansion, commitment, love, fruitfulness, direction, labourers and a future of greater impact in Jesus name.

Pray for the Anniversary Planning Team – strength, wisdom, resources & success! Pray for good weather and participation within & without with testimonies of salvation, answered prayers, & destroyed bondages as God enlarges our coast. Pray for outreaches into North Oxford & Swindon.

G) Pray that our immediate communities and those far off will open to the presence of God and respond to the Gospel!

Phase 3 – Health & Healing
Scriptures: 1 Cor 9:24-27, Exodus 15:26, Exodus 23:25, Jeremiah 30:15-17, Jer 8:22, 1 Tim 4:7-8, Matthew 4:23, 9:35, James 5:16, 3 John 3:2

A) Thank God for Health & healing that are available with Him through Jesus.

B) Pray for a wider awareness and receptivity to healthier eating, exercise, rest & recreation without neglecting the greater benefits of spiritual exercise.

C) Pray for greater Bible-based healing prayer for the sick & larger release of Holy Spirit’s healing gifts.

D) Thank God & pray for caring healthcare practitioners. Pray for God’s wisdom in medical diagnosis, treatment & care of symptoms & sicknesses.

E) Pray that we will hear of & partake in divinely perfected healing in this month & the future.

Phase 4 – Personal Needs

Scriptures: Psalm 138:6-8, Phil 3:12, Eph 4:13, Psalm 25:8, Genesis 1:31, Isaiah 25:1, 1 Peter 5:10

A) Pray that God will perfect you in His purpose as He perfected Caleb & David and helped them.

B) Pray that in this year of ‘Greater’, God will perfect all that concerns you & all yours. Agree with His Word that the glory of the latter part of this year will be greater than the former.?that at the end of this year, you will testify to a ‘Greater Year’ in Jesus name.

C) Receive the grace to forget the things that are behind and press on to the higher calling of God.

D) Pray for Divine instruction & guidance concerning the decisions that you need to make.

Thank God for answered prayers.  Continue in the prayer throughout the month & beyond in Jesus name.
