Our Focus
Word Fountain School of Ministry is a ‘birthing channel’ for Christians who have a passion for God, His word, His work and his world!
With roots in the infallible word of God (The Bible) and the help of the Holy Spirit, the ministry is part of the eternal assignment for Word Fountain (now and in the future) to develop and equip the saints for the work of ministry. The need to identify and cultivate the calling and gifting of believers in the mould of godly character for global impact can not be overemphasised – Ephesians 4: 12 - 16
Word Fountain has learnt that there is little or no room in the kingdom for people to be ordained before they are ‘grown’ rather, the biblical pattern is to ‘grow’ people (Train, Equip, Affirm and Release) for the work of ministry. Development is a continuous process. However, structured learning forces the discipline.
Context
Word Fountain School of Ministry focuses of the development of the five fold ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers without neglecting the need to develop leadership and administrative acumen.
The school is currently non-residential. Ministry is prepared and delivered within biblical context. The initial programme (Foundation of Christian Ministry Course) will run as a 10 months (September – June) part time programme scheduled for 2 weekly sessions of intensive classroom instruction of 2 hours each fortified by mentoring and practical sessions. The school will also organise seminars, conferences.
Participants are encouraged to take advantage of local, regional and international exposures offered by the International Ministers’ Fellowship to which Word Fountain is affiliated.
The programme is delivered in partnership with Global School of Ministry led by Apostle George Akalonu based in London and other international training institutions as may be considered relevant.
Word Fountain School of Ministry is for anyone from age 18 who wants to experience God to the full and desires to be used of God to fulfil 2 Timothy 2:2.
Candidates require the ability to read and write as well as basic computer skills. No previous educational qualification is required.
