The Blessings of Health & Healing
In 3 John:2, John the beloved, offered a three-prong prayer point that has been recited over and over again "Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers". It is crucial to appreciate the blessings of enjoying good health on a daily basis or healing after being sick.

God has provision in His word, in the blood of Jesus as well as by the help of prayer and faith in Christ Jesus to bring us into the blessings of health and healing for which we are grateful - Psalm 103:1-5. Word Fountain Christian Ministries offer living faith that is rooted in the living word of God and presents God's love to this generation with passion and purpose. God wants us to be whole - spirit, soul and body. Therefore in November we invite everyone to all our meetings and especially the Health and Healing focused sessions as follows:

Thursday November 20:
God is still at work in our generation to restore health to the sick. By God's grace, Word Fountain will host Rev. Melvin Banks and His wife on Thursday November 20 as he returns to Oxford to minister healing, hope and encouragement over supper from 7pm. This affords those who were present at the October 4 -5 Healing & Revival meetings to meet with us again to share the joy of restored health. Also, those who missed the October meetings can come for a fresh touch and experience with God.

Saturday November 22:
Women of Excellence will host a Workshop - Women & Health Issues - From 'Menstrual Period to Menopause and Beyond'facilitated by Margaret Rees (Consultant in Oxford Radcliffe Hospital) who will handle the medical aspects as well as Pastor Olabisi Daniel who will handle the biblical perspective from 4 - 7pm. The event will be spiced by African Women Fashion Show. We believe that it is important that these issues that are often not discussed be brought to the fore and women helped to understand how to handle the various phases of life thereby enhancing their health and life style.

The events take place at the Word Fountain Christian Ministries Chapel on Hollow Way-Cowley. They are free and open to the public but donations will be thankfully received. If you are unable to attend but have prayer requests, please send an email to
pastor@word fountain.org.

Please pray along.
